Reflexology

Our feet are so important and are often neglected in our daily activities. Feet are the foundation of our whole body and impact us structurally and holistically. We rely on our feet yet often neglect them and can misuse our feet when standing, sitting, walking, running, limping, climbing ladders, driving, carrying heavy loads or wearing inappropriate footwear. Our feet often need attention along with some tender love and care.

Reflexology is deeply relaxing with many therapeutic benefits. Based on the principle that reflex areas in the feet, hands and ears relate to internal organs and structures of the body. Pressure is applied to these reflex areas to bring homeostasis to the body. Reflexology relieves stress, improves blood circulation and nerve functions, encourages elimination of toxins, boosts metabolism and energy levels, can relieve headaches, menstruation discomfort and can assist with fertility issues for women and men.

After receiving foot reflexology you’ll feel lighter on your limbs, floating out of a session revitalised and grounded.

I have trained in pregnancy massage and can include reflexology during pregnancy safely in a semi reclined position.

health fund rebates do not apply for reflexology with effect from 1 april 2019 due to private health insurance reforms
