About Rhiannon

 

I’ve specialised in bodywork for 14 years, having first learnt the art of Chinese Foot Reflexology in Canada in 2007, while following my passion for snowboarding. I spent the previous 10 years of my career within Expatriate Medical Insurance learning medical terminology, the human body, it’s systems, anatomy & physiology, pathophysiology and treatment protocols for injuries and illnesses.

In 2011 I completed a Diploma of Remedial Massage specialising in Craniosacral Therapy and Reflexology. My continued immersion in the Biodynamic approach of Craniosacral Therapy has transformed my touch and fine-tuned my therapeutic navigation skills. I pay homage to all of my teachers, colleagues and founders of this work who continue to teach, guide and inspire me.

My approach with people is skilled, considered, supportive and intuitive. I listen to the person and their body. I believe the template for health is held within the dynamics of each of our own living system and through the laying on of hands in the Biodynamic Cranial Approach with an inner state of receptiveness and stillness, you can embody these ‘‘biodynamic forces” to experience wholeness as health.

I maintain memberships with Massage & Myotherapy Australia and the Reflexology Association of Australia.

Health Fund Rebates are applicable for treatments for eligible clients with the exception of Reflexology, which was removed from the definition of general treatment from 1 April 2019 and therefore not eligible for subsidy through the Private Health Insurance Rebate.
